Now in the hands of another Land Rover mad family we aim to keep the ethos, customer service and quality of the Overland Products windows whilst adding other key products to the range.
Nelly needed his Pulse Ambulance windows to open! The military decided to make the windows on the Land Rover Pulse Ambulance (BFA) without this simple function so he designed them to open where they currently did not. Simple really. Then the Defender rear door opening window came into being. Same reason.
We hope to add some other products to the range with doors, hatches, gullwings and stowage boxes in the plans for the future.
We are a typical small business really but make windows for some big names. The Land Rover designs are registered and protected a little like copyright. The windows we make in the UK in a factory in the North West. Various aspects are made offsite like the glass as we make the frames and assemble them in house. The glass requires special equipment especially chemical tinting. We cannot do that here so it is all outsourced. The Glass is marked with the required automotive stuff you'd expect and need for the windows to pass TUV etc.
